(1)The proceedings of every Panchayat, and of all committees thereof shall be governed by such rules [as may be prescribed] [See Rules issued in G O. Ms. No. 167, Rural Development (C4), dated 9th August, 1999 at page 595 and G.O. Ms. No. 260, dated 17th December, 1999 at page 815 of this book.] and by regulations, not inconsistent with such rules or the provisions of this Act, made by the Panchayat with the approval of the Inspector.
