:- (1) Every other instrument chargeable with duty shall, except as provided by Section 11 or by [Rules 10, 12 and 13] [These words were inserted by Government of India Notification No. 13, Dated 20th May, 1926. ] be written on paper on which a stamp of the proper value, not bearing the word "hundi" has been engraved or embossed.(2)A stamped paper, on which the stamp has been engraved or embossed purchased by or for the use of a person shall be used only, by that person or his legal representative or duly authorised agent of such person.
