Surya Kant, J. (Oral) Notice of motion.
Mr.B.S.Chahal, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
In view of the nature of the order which I propose to pass, there is no necessity to seek any counter-reply from the respondents at this stage.
The petitioners are working as Guest Faculty Lecturers in the subjects of Computer Science and Political Science in Government Arts and Science College, Talwara, District Hoshiarpur. They seek a direction C.W.P.No.1602 of 2010 (O&M) 2 that they be not relieved from their respective posts to adjust other set of Guest Faculty Lecturers in their place.
Mr.B.S.Chahal, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, states that subject to the petitioners' eligibility and availability of work, the Guest Faculty Lecturers like the petitioners shall not be replaced by another set of Guest Faculty Lecturers.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
