Section 119(2)(a) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964

(a)Application shall be submitted by a Dufferin cadet to the Captain Superintendent, Training Ship "Dufferin" who shall forward it to the Chief of the Naval Staff with his recommendation that the cadet is, in his opinion, suitable to hold a commissioned rank in the Indian Navy. The application shall be submitted on the prescribed form. Copies of this form shall be available with the Captain Superintendent, Training Ship "Dufferin".
