Section 19(1)(a) in The Punjab Lokpal Act, 1996

(a)Where[ - ] [Certain words omitted vide Act No. 1 of 1998.] the Lokpal conducts an inquiry into such complaint under section 13 at any time before he closes the case under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 16, or as the case may be, before he makes a report in respect of the case under clause (b) of that sub-section;
