Section 81(1) in The Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966
(1)The President and the Assessors shall, save where they are salaried Government Officers, be entitled to such remuneration, either by way of monthly salary or by way of fees or partly in one way and partly in the other, as the State Government may, from time to time, decide:Provided that, in exceptional cases where the scheme is a large one or the work involved is complicated, the State Government may authorise the President and the Assessors, even if they are salaried Government Officers to receive such special salary or remuneration, as the State Government may by order, decide from time to time.
