(a)in the case of the Municipal Corporation, -(i)the Mayor, or if so authorised by the Mayor, the Senior Deputy Mayor or the Deputy Mayor or an elected Councill or, as the case may be; and(ii)the Commissioner, or if so authorised by the Commissioner, an officer subordinate to him not below the rank of the Assistant Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation;
