Section 145 in Meghalaya Municipal Act, 1973

145. Penalty for taking unauthorized toll.

- when any person authorized to collect toll, realize any tolls higher than the tolls authorized under this Act, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty rupees and in default of payment, to imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month.
