03/ 27.06.2011Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondent-Union of India. No one appears for respondent-Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and its authorities. No one also appears on behalf of respondent no. 6.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the appointment of respondent no.6 as retail outlet (petrol pump) dealer for the site located at NH 28, Muhammadpur Junction to NH 101, Muhammadpur Malmalia More in the district of Gopalganj and also for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as retail outlet (petrol pump) dealer for the site located at NH 28, Muhammadpur to NH 101, Muhammadpur Malmalia More in the district of Gopalganj as well as for other ancillary reliefs. 2
3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since six years have lapsed, he wants to withdraw this writ petition.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
