(2)Articles of clothing and bedding, etc., supplied to a civil prisoner at the expense of the decree-holder, under paragraph 698 of the Jail Manual, shall be removed from the prisoner at the time of his release and returned to the decree holder. If such articles remain unclaimed for two months, they will be sold and there sale-proceeds credited to the Government.
