Section 119(3) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(3)Selected candidates may be appointed as cadets and shall undergo one year's training at the National Defence Academy. On completion of this training they shall be required to undergo further training in Indian Naval Ships and establishments.
