ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Ms.T.Sudha Gandhi, learned counsel for the petitioner; and, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land in Survey No.171 of Suriyapalayam Village was allotted to a dalit and now it has been sold to a non-dalit. The sale is void.
3. The land in question was allotted to an individual, namely Kamatchi Parayan, under the DC category in the year 1924. The legal heirs of the allottee have sold out the said land in favour of another person in the year 1968. Thereafter, subsequent sales have taken place. The subsequent sales are assailed by the petitioner, who is unconcerned with the said __________ Page 3 of 7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.2575 of 2024 land.
4. The petitioner has prayed that his representation be decided by the authorities. In case, the representation is filed by the petitioner, then the competent authority may take a decision in accordance with law and policy, after adhering to the principles of natural justice.
5. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
