Section 6(1)(n) in UGC Regulations on Curbing The Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009

(n)The faculties/departments/units of the institution shall have induction arrangements, including those which anticipate, identify and plan to meet any special needs of any specific section of students, in place well in advance of the beginning of the academic year with an aim to promote the objectives of this Regulation.
