Section 17(1) in The Maharashtra Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1971
(1)Upon the constitution of the Council for the first time after the commencement of this Act, the register shall be given into its custody by the State Government and the State Government shall direct that all or a specified part of the application fee for registration in the first register shall be paid to the credit of the Council. The State Government shall notify in the Official Gazette the date on which the register is given in the custody of the Council.
