Article 226A in Constitution of India

226A. Constitutional validity of Central laws not to be considered in proceedings under 226

(1)All proclamations, ordinances, orders, rules, bye-laws and regulations made by the President or the Governor of a State or by any person or authority under the authority of the President or the Governor of a State, whether before or after the commencement of the Constitution (Forty-second Amendment) Act, 1976, in so far as such proclamations, ordinances, orders, rules, bye-laws or regulations seek to deal with or provide for the prevention of, or punishment for, any action deemed to be prejudicial to the maintenance of public order or the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the community, shall, notwithstanding any judgment, decree or order of any court or tribunal to the contrary, be deemed to be and to have always been validly made, and shall not be called in question on any ground whatsoever.
(2)For the removal of doubts, it is hereby declared that no Act of any Legislature made after the commencement of the Constitution (Forty-second Amendment) Act, 1976, shall be called in question in any court on the ground that it contravenes any provision of the Constitution, including any of the provisions of this Part (including Article 13) or any amendment made by this Constitution or that the power of the Legislature to make such Act is in any way limited, whether because of a matter enumerated in the List or for any other reason.[Rep . by the Constitution (Forty-third Amendment) Act, 1977, section 8 (w.e.f. 13.4.1978)][Editorial comment-The Constitution (Forty-Third Amendment) Act, 1977, A similar ban on High Courts deliberating the constitutionality of Central laws was imposed by Article 226(A).
