Section 11(5) in Himachal Pradesh Universities of Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry Act, 1986
(5)Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Senate shall -(i)review the broad policies and programmes of the University and suggest measures for the improvement and development of the University;(ii)consider and pass resolution on the annual report, annual accounts, financial estimates and audit report on such accounts of the University; and(iii)advise the Chancellor in respect of any matter which may be referred to it for advice.
