Section 95 in Rules Under the Land and Revenue Regulation
95. Punishment for contravention of rule.
- When any grazing ground has been finally demarcated under rule 89, no person shall occupy any part of such grazing ground for purposes other than grazing. Whoever contravenes this rule shall be punished with fine to be imposed by the Deputy Commissioner which may extend to fifty rupees.Note. All Sub-divisional Officers in the State of Assam have been invested with the powers of a Deputy Commissioner under this rule, vide No notification No. 1575-R., dated the 10th June 1927.
