Section 2(1)(i) in Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma and B.Sc. Degree Holders (ECET/ECET-AC) for Admission into second year Under Graduate Courses in Engineering/ Pharmacy Rules, 2008

(i)"Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma and B.Sc. Degree Holders" (hereinafter called ECET) means the examination conducted for assigning ranks on merit to the candidates which shall be the basis for Admission into B.E., B.Tech.and B.Pharm Courses in All India Council for Technical Education/Pharmacy Council of India approved institutions for Diploma and Degree Holders.
