Section 8(4) in Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994
(4)[ If a person sits or votes as a Mayor or member of the Corporation where he is not qualified or that he is disqualified for the post of Mayor or membership, he shall be liable in respect of each day on which he so sits or votes to penalty of five hundred rupees to be recovered as an arrear of tax under this Act.] [Substituted by Haryana Act No. 28 of 2018, dated 4.10.2018.]
