Section 24(1) in Rajasthan Electrical Inspectorate (Formation of Technical Committee and Grant of Licence, Competency Certificate to work and Permit to work) Rules, 2016
(1)Contractor may engage apprentices for training purposes in which case the total number of apprentices employed by any contractor at any time shall not exceed 25% of his total wiring staff:Provided that the contractor shall not permit such apprentices to carry out any electrical installation work including additions, alterations, repairs and adjustments to existing installations covered by sub-regulation (1) of regulation 29 of the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulation, 2010 except under the direct supervision of a person holding a certificate of competency and under the guidance of at least one certified wireman on the premises.
