1. Present petition relates to entrance examination conducted for National Institute of Fashion Technology ["NIFT"] in 2022 and counselling process thereof. Mr. Kaushal Gautam, who appears on advance notice for Respondent No. 2-NIFT, states that as per policy of NIFT, only two rounds of counselling are normally conducted for 'Other Backward Classes' seats. However, in the instant case, a third round of counselling was also conducted as there were leftover seats. Mr. Gautam states that despite a third round of counselling there were vacancies, which were de-reserved for 'General' category.
2. There is no appearance on behalf of Petitioner.
3. In the interest of justice, no adverse orders are being passed.
4. Re-notify on 07th December, 2022.
