Section 79(1) in The Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006
(1)If the poll at any polling station is adjourned under sub-rule (1) of rule 54, the provisions of rules 75 to 78 shall, as far as practicable, apply as if the poll was closed at the hour fixed in that behalf.
