Facts :-
The matter, in short, is that the DDA had undertaken to allot an alternative plot to the appellant in lieu of demolition of his jhuggi located in Phase-I, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi. He has deposited the requisite license fee etc. with DDA but he has not been allotted any alternative plot so far. Vide his RTI application dated 20.5.2009, he has sought the information about the likely schedule of allotment of plot to him.
2. The CPIO had responded to him vide letter dated 26.5.2009 stating that the allotment was to be made on the basis of draw and the date of allotment will be intimated to him in due course. However, the Appellate Authority vide order dated 20.7.2009 had directed the CPIO "to intimate the tentative schedule by when the proposal for alternative allotment is likely to be finalized alongwith the over all reasons why the matter has till now remained unresolved."
3. As the appellant did not receive the requisite information from the CPIO, he has filed the present appeal.
4. Heard on 18.2.2010. Appellant not present. The Public Authority is represented by the officer named above. It is the submission of Shri Rathi that the matter is pending due to administrative reasons and that efforts are afoot to expedite decision in the matter.
DECISION
5. In view of the above, the Commission need not pass any orders in the matter and the same is closed.
