Section 61(1) in Karnataka Janapada Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2011
(1)The final authority responsible for maintenance of discipline among the students of the University shall be the Vice-Chancellor. His directions in that behalf shall be carried out by the heads of the institutions and hostels recognized by the university.
