Section 14(1) in The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2005
(1)If, on the date fixed for hearing, any party or his authorized agent or representative does not appear when the matter is called for hearing, the Commission may, in its discretion, postpone the hearing to another date or dismiss the petition for default when the Petitioner or the person who moves the Commission for hearing is absent or proceed ex parte to hear and decide the petition if the other party is absent.
