Section 16 in The Shree Somnath Sanskrit University Act, 2005
16. University Librarian.
(1)The University Librarian shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor in the manner prescribed under Section 18. The University Librarian shall be the principal officer of the University. He shall be a full time salaried officer of the University.(2)The University Librarian shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed and assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor.
