Section 8 in The National Law University, Jodhpur Act, 1999

8. Chancellor of the University.

(1)The Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan shall be the Chancellor of the University
(2)The Chancellor shall appoint the Vice-Chancellor of the University in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the Statutes of the University in this regard.
