Section 9(8) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960
(8)It shall be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor to visit and inspect the colleges and buildings, laboratories, workshops and equipments thereof and any other institutions associated with the University and he shall have the right of making an inquiry or causing an inquiry to be made, in like manner, in respect of any matter connected with such colleges and institutions.
