Section 2(a) in The Gujarat Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act, 1985
(a)"authorised officer" means a District Magistrate or a Commissioner of Police authorised under sub-section (2) of section 3 to exercise the powers conferred under sub-section (I) of that section;
