Section 19(1)(b) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Building Rules, 1972

(b)The Government, may, either suo motu or on appeal against any order of the authority empowered by them, pass such orders, as deemed fit, provided, such an appeal is made within thirty days from the date of receipt of the order of the authority empowered by the Government:
