SHRI SHRINIWAS DADASAHEB PATIL (KARAD): Flood protection works needs to be taken up on the banks of river Krishna at Karad in Satara District and Sangli in Sangli District of Maharashtra which has suffered heavy loss to life and property due to high floods in River Krishna. Samadhi of late Deputy Prime Minister of India Shri Y.B. Chavan needs special protection of retaining wall to safeguard it during high floods at Karad.
