Section 27(9) in Rabindranath Tagore University Act, 2017
(9)It shall, subject to the powers conferred by this Act on the Vice-Chancellor, regulate and determine all matters under this Act concerning the University in accordance with this Act the statutes and the Ordinances:Provided that no action shall be taken by the Executive Council in respect to the numbers, qualifications or emoluments of teachers otherwise than in consultation with the Academic Council; and
