Section 10(7) in The Orissa Grama Panchayats Act, 1964
(7)The reservation of seats under Clauses (a) and (b) of Sub-section (3) and the reservation of offices of Sarpanchas (other than the reservation for women) [and backward class of citizens] [Inserted vide O.G. Extraordinary No. 1649 dated 7.9.2001.] under Sub-section (5) shall cease to have effect on the expiration of the period specified in Article 334 of the Constitution.
