Section 379 in The Bombay Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
379. Prohibition of sale in unauthorised private markets. - No person who knows that any private market has been established without the sanction of the Commissioner, or is kept open after a licence for keeping the same open has been refused, cancelled or suspended by the Commissioner, shall sell or expose for sale therein any animal or articles of human food or any live-stock or food for live-stock.
