Section 1 in The Karnataka Reservation of Appointments of Posts (In the Civil Services of the State) for Rural Candidates Act, 2000
1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Reservation of Appointment or Posts (in the Civil Services of the State) for Rural Candidates Act, 2000(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [All the provisions of the Act have come into force w.e.f. 30-1-2001, vide notification No. DPAR 01 SENANI 2000 (Part-3) dated 30-1-2001.] as the Government may by notification appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.
