24. Punishment under other laws not barred.
- Nothing in this Act shall prevent any person from being prosecuted and punished under any other law for the time being in force for any act or omission made punishable by or under this Act [and such prosecution shall not be initiated except on a complaint made by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer having jurisdiction over the area.] [Added by Act No. 4 of 2018, dated 2.1.2018.]Provided that no person shall be prosecuted and punished for the same offence more than once.
