(2)The appointing authority may accept and approve the recommendations or return the recommendation refusing to accord approval, giving reasons in writing thereof, in which case the Vice-Chancellor shall, in due course present another panel of recommendees in order of merit to the appointing authority in accordance with the Statutes 6 (a), 6 (b) and 6 (c).
