38. Powers and responsibilities of the Director General of Police.
- As head of the state Police Force, it shall be the responsibility of the Director General of Police to;(a)operationalise the policies, the Strategic Plan and the Annual Plan prepared by the State Government.(b)administer, control and supervise the Police Service to ensure its efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness and accountability.
