(2)The appointment of the election agent may be revoked by the candidate at any time by a declaration in writing signed by him an 1 lodged with the Returning Officer. Such revocation shall take effect from the date on which it is lodged. In the event of such revocation or in the event of election agent dying before or during the period of the election, the candidate may appoint a new election agent in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (1).
