(1)The outer walls of every jail should be rounded on top corners, projections of any sort or broken glass, only afford a hold for a blanket or cloth. At every junction of a partition wall with the outer wall and at every angle in the outer wall, a sufficient addition should be made in the height to prevent the possibility of any prisoner scaling the wall at these places. The main enclosure wall of a jail shall ordinarily not be less than 4.60 meters high and a clear space of 5 meters should be left between it and any building on either side of it.
