Section 146(1) in The M.P. Municipal Accounts Rules, 1971
(1)The Municipal Engineer or where there is no Municipal Engineer, the officer in principal charge of the Municipal Public Works establishment will inspect as many works of all classes as he can whilst they are in progress. As regards final inspection, he will be guided by the provision of Rule 149.
