Section 6(1) in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008
(1)[The Chancellor of the University shall be appointed by the Government] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.28, Higher Education (UE) Department, dated 11.09.2015.], who shall, by virtue of his office, be the head of the University. He shall perform such functions as may be entrusted to him by or under this Act.
