1. The bunch of present writ petitions have been filed seeking for an appropriate direction to the respondents to confirm the services of the petitioners and also for grant of the benefit of annual increment and other benefits attached to the post, in which the petitioners have been appointed.
2. Pending the petitions the respondents have now issued a circular dated 31.08.2021, wherein the State Government has in very categorical terms directed the respondent No.2-the Dean of the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science (CIMS) to scrutinize the individual cases for confirmation and if the appointments have been found to be regular and without any doubt of any irregularity, order of confirmation/regularization can be passed and they can be granted the appropriate relief and it has also been reflected that in the event if 14 the authorities find that there is some irregularity or illegality in the appointment so made, appropriate action in accordance with law also should be taken.
3. Given the said facts that the respondent No.1 has now directed the respondent No.2 to take an appropriate decision in respect of the petitioners and other similarly placed persons, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to consider the case of each of the petitioners individually and subject to scrutiny and the outcome of the scrutiny, let appropriate decision, so far as confirmation and also for grant of annual increment be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
