Section 2(3)(l) in The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Staff of Department of Technical Education) Act, 2012

(l)"transfer" means posting of a staff to a post in a place of working, from one place of working to a post in another place of working and includes transfer within or outside a Zone in the same cadre;
