Section 79(2)(a) in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975

(a)If on examination the sewer or cesspool is found to be in proper condition, the Jal Sansthan shall as soon as possible, reinstate any ground which has been opened by it and determine any pay compensation for the damage caused by it.
