18. Powers and functions of the [Kolkata] [Substituted by Section 5 of the West Bengal Capital City (Change of Name) Act, 2001 (West Bengal Act No. 18 of 2001) (w.r.e.f. 1.1.2001) for "Calcutta"] Metropolitan Development Authority.
-Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder and any direction which the State Government may give, from time to time, the powers and functions of the [Kolkata] [Substituted by Section 5 of the West Bengal Capital City (Change of Name) Act, 2001 (West Bengal Act No. 18 of 2001) (w.r.e.f. 1.1.2001) for "Calcutta"] Metropolitan Development Authority shall be as provided in section 13 of this Act.
