Section 32A in The Registration Act, 1977 (1920 A.D.)
32A. [ Affixation of photograph and thumb impression. [Inserted by Act No. XIII of 2011, dated 25th April, 2011.]
- Every person presenting any document for registration under section 32 shall affix his passport size photograph and thumb impression to the document:Provided that where such document relates to the transfers of ownership of immovable property, the passport size photograph and thumb impression of each buyer and seller of such property mentioned in the document shall also be affixed to the document.]
