36. Site on which dwelling house is built to be sold to tenant.—
(1)If a landlord to whom the site referred to in section 35 belongs intends to sell such site, it shall be sold only to the tenant at the expense of whom or of any of whose predecessors in-title the dwelling house thereon has been built.(2)The price payable by the tenant for such site shall be an amount equal to ten times the land revenue payable thereon and where such site is not assessed to land revenue, an amount equal to ten times the land revenue which may be assessed if it had been used for agricultural purposes.(3)Any sale in contravention of the provisions of this section shall be null and void.
