Section 30(2) in Andhra Pradesh Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2003

(2)Timely information of the release of a child and of the probable date of release shall be given to the parent or guardian and the parent or the guardian shall be invited to come to the institution to take charge of the child on the date. If necessary, the actual expenses of the parent or the guardian's journey, both ways and of the child's journey from the institution shall be paid to the parent or guardian by the Superintendent at the time of the release of the child. If the parent or guardian as the case may be, fails to come to take charge of the child on the appointed date, the child shall be taken by the escort of the institution.
