Section 84(1) in Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Conduct of Election of Members) Rules, 2005
(1)The presiding officer may whenever he considers it necessary to do so enter the voting compartment during poll and take such steps as may be necessary to ensure that the balloting unit is not tempered or interfered with in any way.
